We are working to get it fixed but do not want to disappoint the students who have worked so hard to perform. We will put fans in the auditorium. Please have your children dress for the weather. Last evening the BOE approved an amended calendar for the remainder of the academic school year. The Memorial Day Holiday will be observed on Friday, May 26 AND Monday, May 29. The last day of student attendance for grades UPK through 5 will be Friday, June 16. Our staff will begin efforts to close Mullen and Riverview Elementary Schools and transition into the new Tonawanda Elementary School during the week of June 19. The Board of Education on March 15 voted to adopt an Instructional Calendar for 2023-2024 and to accept an offer from Child and Family Services to purchase Mullen Elementary School for $850,000. Mrs. Edholm-McNelis's Art students created an impressive collaborative mural of 8 inspirational women from history. The piece includes Ruby Bridges, Anne Frank, Malala Yousafai, Amelia Earhart, Frida Kahlo, Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, and Georgia O'Keefe.
