Tonawanda City School District is proud to welcome Mr. Tom Roberts as the Interim Director of Educational Compliance and Accountability.
Roberts joins the district after retiring last year from a 31-year career in education. He served the Sweet Home CSD for 21 years, including eight years as District Data Coordinator and 13 years as the Assistant Principal of Sweet Home High School. Prior to that, he was a High School English Teacher for 10 years.
Tom is looking forward to this new opportunity and will work hard to support the district in any way possible.
His educational background includes a Bachelor’s of Science in English Education from Buffalo State College, a Master’s in Learning & Instruction from the University at Buffalo, and a School District Leader/School District Administrator Certificate from Canisius College.
In his free time, Mr. Roberts is a High School/College Basketball referee. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching his kids play soccer and tennis.
