Original Article| Following the required change by the New York State Department of Education of the Tonawanda District name, mascot, and logo, the Board of Education approved the Timberwolves as the district’s new name, mascot, and logo in 2024, following student and community input and voting.
More than 1,000 pieces of memorabilia from the Tonawanda City School District will be sold as part of the district’s Tonawanda Warrior Memorabilia Auction.
The auction, which will run from February 28 to March 9, will feature uniforms, polos, chairs, and a wide range of fan items.
All proceeds from the sale of these items will be applied to the General Fund of the district. These proceeds will be used to begin to recover the significant expenses that were incurred from this required change.
