virtual meeting on computer screen

Dear Parents/Caregivers of incoming ninth graders,

As the calendar turns to January,  it is time to think of the 2025-26 school year.  While we still have six months left in this school year, students, parents and staff have placed some of their attention on September.  With that in mind, many of you might have questions about courses and opportunities that are offered at Tonawanda High School.

On Tuesday, January 28 at 6:00pm, Tonawanda High School is thrilled to hold our VIRTUAL Parent Information Night. We invite you to join us for a short overview of high school expectations, scheduling process, graduation requirements and some general information.

Join us using the following Google Meet link: https://meet.google.com/wnj-nkin-nme

Click the link to view the  25-26 Course Selection Guide.  We encourage you to review the course selection guide with your child so that you can be prepared with questions the night of the event.  High school is a very exciting time in your child’s life so please join us to find out all the opportunities available to Tonawanda High School students.

In addition to our Parent Information Night, Mrs. Todaro will review the timeline for the high school course selection process to eighth graders in ELA classes and answer any questions they may have during the week of January 20.  Also, all eighth-grade students will attend a Showcase Assembly during fourth period on January 28, led by high school students to celebrate some wonderful elective course options and learn about graduation requirements as well.

Our school counselors will begin scheduling courses for students in eighth grade in February.  You can contact your child’s school counselor with any questions at (716) 694-7673.

If you have any questions about our Virtual Parent Information Night or the 8th grade presentation, please contact the High School Main Office at (716) 694-7670.

We look forward to having you join us that evening.

Thank you,

Lyndsey Todaro, Principal
Renee Smith, Assistant Principal
