Now is your chance to weigh in on how New York State calculates education funding for public schools.

The Rockefeller Institute of Government is conducting a study to assess the State’s Foundation Aid education funding formula and discuss potential changes to how the formula works.

As part of the Foundation Aid Study, the Rockefeller Institute wants to hear from education stakeholders across New York State, including students, their parents and families, teachers, school staff and administrators.

You can provide feedback and input on the Foundation Aid formula in the following ways:

(1) You can submit written comments on the Rockefeller Institute website here: Foundation Aid Study | Rockefeller Institute of Government (rockinst.org)

(2) You can register to speak at a public hearing on July 25 at North Park Community School located at 780 Parkside Avenue, Buffalo.  Invited stakeholder testimony will begin at 2:00 p.m. and public comment for registered speakers will begin at 5:30 p.m. Click here to register: Foundation Aid Public Hearing | Western New York | Rockefeller Institute of Government (rockinst.org)

We encourage you to take part and share your insight as a parent and Tonawanda City School District community member.
