In preparation for the total solar eclipse on April 8, students at Tonawanda Elementary School had the opportunity to learn more about the night sky while staying inside.

The Challenger Learning Center of Lockport stopped by with their mobile planetarium last week. Not only did students have the chance to explore the celestial bodies that appear in the night sky in different seasons, they also got to watch them move realistically to simulate their motions.

The mobile planetarium returns four more times to TES over February and March.
