It was an exciting day at Tonawanda Elementary School on Tuesday, as students learned how to play lacrosse from the people who know it best.
Ian Mackay, Chase Fraser, Dylan Robinson and Cam Wyers from the Buffalo Bandits stopped by the school to teach the kids pro-level instruction as part of the Buffalo Bandits School Program.
Classes throughout the day participated in 40 minutes sessions where they learned how to hold and use a lacrosse stick and take a shot.
At the end, each student got a ticket voucher for a Bandits game.
