The school year was 1973 - 1974.
Tonawanda High School Athletic Wall of Fame inductee, Clint H. Small, had just coached his last varsity football season that fall. He had been named Citizen of the Year in Tonawandas the summer prior to the school year, and at the last home game, Tonawanda's football stadium was dedicated in his honor, and still carries his namesake today.
The '73 - '74 school year saw another major milestone. It was the first time the school yearbook introduced full color pages.
