Girl Varsity Bowling

Brenna Forsha, a senior at Tonawanda High School, has led the Girls’ Varsity Bowling team to many successes this season. She kicked off the year with a 699 total series in the Maryvale Preseason Tournament where the team took first place overall. As the team’s anchor in competitions, she averaged 190 pins per game in league with a high game of 246 and a high series of 699. At the roll-off’s competition where girls compete individually, Brenna averaged 205 pins per game in a 3 game series. The team wrapped up their season on February 15th at sectionals where they proved to be strong competition. Brenna thrived under the pressure, finishing the day with a 1,157 pin count in a 6 game series and an average of 193 pins per game. Not only has she proved herself to be an outstanding bowler, she has been a great role model for the team by showing true sportsmanship. She is often seen helping her teammates with techniques, advice, and maintaining a positive attitude. Due to her amazing performance at sectionals, Brenna will be competing at the state level as a part of the Section 6 All-Star Girls’ Bowling Team on March 11th. Not only will she be representing Western New York as a whole, but she will also be the perfect example of what it means to be a part of the Tonawanda Warrior Nation. Good luck Brenna and the Section 6 All-Star Girls’ Bowling team at states!
