The Technology Department at Tonawanda City School District is one of the best in Western New York, and Technology Teacher Ty Hardleben is a key reason why. Hardleben has been with the district for over 20 years and considers himself to have the best job in the world. He works in the woodshop with students, teaching them skills they’ll use for the rest of their lives.
According to Tonawanda Middle School Principal Kristine Strible, “Ty has been instrumental in supporting the tech program here at the Middle School. He engages his students, builds positive relationships and accountability, and prepares them for future careers in this area. He is always willing to help others and is a wonderful asset to the Middle School.”
