Two students from Tonawanda High School have been named Commended Students in this year's 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Noah Brenon and Isaac Castillo received the honors.
A Letter of Commendation from THS and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®), which conducts the program, will be presented by Principal Lyndsey Todaro to these scholastically talented seniors.
"About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise and placed in the top 50,000 of over 1 million students by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Program Qualifying Test," said Todaro. "Congratulations on this amazing achievement!"
The students named Commended Students are those who demonstrate outstanding potential for academic success.
