Congratulations to Mr. Taylor and his students who competed in the Springville Pageant of the Bands.
The Pageant marched into Springville on May 18-19, with regional concert band and jazz ensemble competitions at Springville-Griffith Institute High School. May 20 kicked off with concert band, color guard and percussion competitions at the High School in the morning, then a Pageant of Bands Parade in the afternoon.
Each participating marching band is judged on both marching technique and musicianship over a 300-foot reviewing section of Main Street.
Tonawanda's Percussion Ensemble took 1st place and our Symphonic Band took 2nd place!
