athletes pose with coaches on signing day

Surrounded by family, friends and coaches, two Tonawanda Warriors signed their commitment letters to play collegiate softball.

Lauren Kisloski signed her letter to SUNY Niagara, while Rebecca Oates signed hers to Houghton University.

Both athletes have been instrumental to the success of Tonawanda's softball team, having played for the district since seventh grade. Oates played pitcher, while Kisloski played shortstop, catcher and outfield.

"Lauren and Rebecca exemplify what it means to be a student athlete here at Tonawanda," said Athletic Director Jared Northrup. "I'm so impressed by how Rebecca and Lauren held themselves both on and off the field. These two ladies truly represent what it means to be a well-rounded student."
