On Wednesday, February 1, 2023 the entire Tonawanda City School District participated in the Global School Play Day.
GSPD has been promoted by Psychology Today and is being celebrated at schools around the world. The goal is to encourage unstructured play for children. The district encouraged staff and students to bring in things to play with and have unstructured time of 30 minutes devoted to self-directed play.
