The Tonawanda City School District participated in the national Walk, Bike & Roll to School day on Oct. 12.
Walk, Bike & Roll is a growing movement that encourages children, their friends, and families to get outside together and to be more active. National Walk & Roll to School Day was first held in 1997, and National Bike & Roll to School Day was first held in 2012. According to walkbiketoschool.org, 2,499 events were registered nationwide this year.
