Congratulations to Fletcher Spelling Bee Winners!

Fletcher School held its annual Spelling Bee on Friday, March 10th, wowing the audience with it’s sensational spelling talent that is its fourth and fifth grade students.

All fourth and fifth grade students participated in individual classroom Spelling Bees during the month of February with the top three students from each classroom chosen to participate in the 2017 school-wide Spelling Bee.   

The top three students from this school-wide competition will now compete at the Niagara Regional PTA Spelling Bee at Huth Road Elementary School in Grand Island on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  The fourth place student in this competition will be named as an alternate.

Winners for the fourth grade include, after quite a lengthy battle, tied for first place: Isaac Castillo and Noah Brenon, in third place was Lydia LoGalbo and in fourth place was Kaelee Wright as alternate.

Winners for the fifth grade include in first place: Kadence Carney, taking second place was Olivia Castillo, in third place was James Ostrander and in fourth place, Cy Doane.

Congratulations to everyone who participated and the best of luck to our Fletcher students as they advance to Regionals!!
