Fletcher Spelling Bee Winners to Advance to Niagara Regional Competition in May

The top three students from Fletcher’s school-wide spelling bee competition will compete at the Niagara Regional Spelling Bee in May at Huth Elementary School in Grand Island.
All fourth- and fifth-grade students at Fletcher participated in individual classroom spelling bees during February. The top three students from each classroom earned a spot in the school-wide spelling bee on Friday, March 11.
Fourth-grade winners who advance to regionals are Kadence Carney, first place; Olivia Castillo, second place; Angel Mulumba, third place; Mianna Hill, alternate.
Fifth-grade winners who advance to regionals are Michael Harmon, first place; Connor Enright, second place; Owen Close, third place and Hailey Gargac, alternate.
