Open slots remain in the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program at Tonawanda City School District. The free program offers both morning and afternoon sessions five days a week at Mullen Elementary School and a limited number of morning-only sessions at the Child’s Creative Development Center or St. Francis of Assisi. Children must be four on or before December 1, 2016 to be eligible for the program. There is no tuition but parents must provide transportation. Wrap-around programs are available at CCDC and St. Francis for an additional fee.
Registration packets are available at all district elementary schools, Board of Education (door #11), St. Francis, CCDC, and the Tonawanda Public Library. More information and downloadable registration packets are on the district website at the UPK registration icon.
No packets will be mailed. After the packet is complete and parents/guardians have all the necessary documentation, please call 694-7690 for an appointment. The appointment should take no more than 10 minutes if you have everything requested on the registration packet cover page.
